Paris Art Week visitor guide
Dates, tickets, access & getting around
Use the Overview to choose events, then the Venues page to find the main fair locations. This guide brings together separate fairs, openings and exhibitions; each has its own dates and entry conditions.
When is Paris Art Week 2026?
The guide covers 19–25 October 2026. Art Basel Paris’s public days are 23–25 October, 11:00–19:00. Its Thursday 22 October vernissage runs 14:00–20:00 and requires a separate vernissage ticket or invitation. Other fairs and openings have different schedules.
How do I read the dates?
The seven dots represent Monday 19 to Sunday 25 October. Public access takes priority when a day also includes a VIP session. A black dot indicates public opening or a scheduled public event; admission may still require a ticket.
- Black — Public opening / event, including days with VIP hours
- Half-black — Preview, VIP or restricted access only
- Grey — Closed or outside the event dates
Open Details in the Overview for exact hours, preview conditions and official links.
Do I need tickets or an invitation?
Check admission separately for each fair, exhibition or reception. A public-day ticket may not include a preview or vernissage. Book through the organiser’s official website and check the date, entry window and entrance on your confirmation.
Paris Internationale’s current visiting page lists accredited guests and advance booking. Confirm admission with the organiser before adding it to your plan.
Post-Fair Paris runs 19–24 October at 74 and 79 rue du Temple. Register for your chosen day through the organiser’s registration page; each pass is valid only for that day. Monday’s public opening is 18:00–20:00, following an invitation-only preview from 14:00–18:00. Tuesday–Saturday hours are 11:00–19:00. Official visitor information

Which Paris Art Week events are free?
MaSH: Nocturne Matignon Saint-Honoré has free access on Monday 19 October, 17:00–21:00. Christie’s also offers free public exhibition viewing during that evening at 9 avenue Matignon. Its 16:00 press preview is a separate media session.
Can I visit exhibitions all week?
An exhibition’s overall dates do not guarantee that it opens every day. Use the dots for the guide week and Details for daily hours. Some shows begin partway through the week, and venue closures or exceptional openings can affect your visit.
The Fondation Louis Vuitton’s exhibitions are open throughout the week shown; during the French school holiday programme (17 October–1 November), public activities run daily from 10:00–20:00 in the Auditorium with an exhibition ticket. Select an exhibition entry time when booking.
At a venue with several exhibitions, check whether one admission covers the shows you want to see. Confirm accessibility and any booking requirements on the venue’s official website.
How should I plan my route?
Choose your main fair from the Venues page, then add nearby museums, galleries and exhibitions from the Overview. Venue and address links open Google Maps. Leave time for entry queues, travel and a break rather than filling every hour.
Use Île-de-France Mobilités for public-transport routes, timetables, network maps and accessibility information. Check your route on the day of your visit.
